About Journey to Destiny Ministries

Journey To Destiny Ministries (JTDM) is a global, faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 2015 by visionary leader Felecia Y. Foster. Rooted in compassion and committed to transformation, JTDM exists to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity to vulnerable individuals—especially children, women, and families affected by poverty, trafficking, abuse, or displacement.

Operating in the United States, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Kenya, France, and Puerto Rico, JTDM meets urgent needs through a network of Journey Centers that provide safe housing, educational assistance, vocational training, emotional healing, and spiritual development.

At our core, we believe in holistic transformation. From rescuing young girls from trafficking in the Dominican Republic, to empowering orphaned youth in Ghana, to supporting displaced families in Puerto Rico, our programs offer more than relief—they create pathways to purpose.

Through innovative programs like the Journey to Compassion Voluntourism & Internship Initiative, JTDM also mentors the next generation of changemakers by combining faith, service, and international experience.

Safe Housing & Holistic Care

We operate Journey Centers that provide secure housing, daily meals, education access, and emotional healing for girls and families escaping abuse, trafficking, or homelessness.

Education & Vocational Training

From primary school to university prep, we equip individuals with the academic tools and life skills they need to break cycles of poverty. Our centers offer tutoring, literacy programs, and career-focused training in areas like technology, beauty, and business.

Felecia Y. Foster is the heart and visionary behind Journey To Destiny Ministries. With a deep passion for justice, healing, and faith-based empowerment, she founded JTDM to serve the overlooked and vulnerable. Her leadership has led to the creation of sustainable programs that impact lives across continents.

Ms. Foster’s tireless dedication, global perspective, and unshakable faith continue to inspire a growing network of volunteers, donors, and partners. Under her guidance, JTDM has grown from a single outreach into an international movement of compassion, restoration, and purpose.
